“To acquire the habit of reading is to construct for yourself a refuge from almost all the miseries of Life.”
W. Somerset Maugham
Books are like a virtual window to the outside world. I, unlike many others my age, developed the habit of reading pretty late. In fact, the only books I used to read till my Engineering were Sydney Sheldon , Chetan Bhagat and random mystery thrillers. Now that I look back, it feels so insignificant- to even call them novels.
I won’t say I am well read now, but I’m still getting there! These boos act as a shield in times of distress and I can proudly say that inculcating a reading habit is one of the best things that I’ve done so far.
